Important safety information
The Nu-Derm Rx System is a branded kit containing Clear Rx and Blender Rx, each with prescription hydroquinone 4%; it is not compounded. Do not use during pregnancy or breastfeeding. Do not apply to broken, sunburned, or severely irritated skin. Patients with very dark skin tones require close provider supervision because of ochronosis risk. Follow the prescribed AM and PM sequence; more product does not improve results. Daily Sun Shield SPF 50 is mandatory during treatment and afterward. Limit treatment to 3–6 months followed by at least 3 months off. Continuous hydroquinone use can cause exogenous ochronosis, a potentially permanent bluish-black darkening. Stinging, burning, redness, dryness, peeling, irritation, or rare allergy may occur. Store components at room temperature away from heat and light. Individual results vary.
