“If your dark spots are stubborn but your skin prefers a richer cream over a light serum, C-Therapy Night Cream gives you prescription-strength hydroquinone and pure Vitamin C in one overnight step. Use a pea-sized amount, make sunscreen part of every morning, and let us help you decide whether the night cream is enough or whether the full morning-and-night Obagi-C system fits you better.”— Haley Shaffer, MintRx Pharmacist

C-Therapy Night Cream contains prescription hydroquinone 4%, L-ascorbic acid 10%, and sodium metabisulfite and is not compounded. Do not use during pregnancy or breastfeeding. Tell your provider about sulfite allergy or asthma because sodium metabisulfite can rarely cause serious allergic-type reactions, including anaphylactic symptoms. Do not apply to broken, sunburned, or severely irritated skin or with known ingredient allergy. Apply a small amount at night as prescribed and avoid eyes and lips. Daily broad-spectrum SPF 30+ is mandatory. Limit hydroquinone treatment to 3–6 months followed by at least 3 months off; continuous use can cause exogenous ochronosis, a potentially permanent paradoxical darkening. Stinging, dryness, peeling, redness, irritation, photosensitivity, temporary lightening outside the target area, or rare contact allergy may occur. Keep the jar tightly closed at room temperature away from heat and light. Significant darkening toward deep brown can indicate oxidation. Individual results vary.
