Important safety information
Tadalafil is an FDA-approved generic prescription medication used to manage erectile dysfunction. It requires sexual stimulation to work and does not cure ED. Do not take tadalafil with nitrates such as nitroglycerin or isosorbide, or with guanylate cyclase stimulators such as riociguat; the combination can cause a dangerous drop in blood pressure. Do not use tadalafil if sexual activity is inadvisable because of cardiovascular disease. Tell your provider if you have had a recent heart attack or stroke, unstable angina, severe heart failure, low or uncontrolled blood pressure, severe liver or kidney disease, NAION, retinal disease, or an allergy to tadalafil. Tell your provider about alpha-blockers, strong CYP3A4 inhibitors or inducers, other PDE5 inhibitors, and all medications and supplements. Common side effects include headache, flushing, nasal congestion, indigestion, back or muscle aches, and dizziness. Seek emergency care for an erection lasting four hours or longer. Stop use and seek immediate evaluation for sudden vision or hearing loss. Avoid excessive alcohol. Tadalafil is not for women or children. Store at room temperature away from moisture and light.
