Important safety information
C-Clarifying Serum contains prescription hydroquinone 4% and L-ascorbic acid 10% and is not compounded. Do not use during pregnancy or breastfeeding. Do not apply to broken, sunburned, or severely irritated skin or with known ingredient allergy. The Normal-to-Oily vehicle contains alcohol and fragrance and may not suit fragrance-sensitive, alcohol-intolerant, very dry, or highly sensitive skin. Apply 5–7 drops in the morning as prescribed and avoid eyes and lips. Daily broad-spectrum SPF 30+ is mandatory. Limit hydroquinone treatment to 3–6 months followed by at least 3 months off; continuous use can cause exogenous ochronosis, a potentially permanent paradoxical darkening. Stinging, dryness, peeling, redness, irritation, photosensitivity, temporary lightening outside the target area, or rare contact allergy may occur. Keep tightly closed at room temperature away from heat and light. Significant darkening toward deep brown can indicate oxidation. Individual results vary.
