Important safety information
The Obagi-C Rx System is a branded prescription kit containing two products with hydroquinone 4% and L-ascorbic acid 10%; it is not compounded. Do not use during pregnancy, while planning pregnancy, or while breastfeeding. Adults only. Do not use on sunburned, broken, severely irritated skin or during active uncontrolled eczema or rosacea. Patch testing may be recommended. Follow the exact AM and PM sequence prescribed; more product does not accelerate results. Daily Sun Shield SPF 50 is mandatory. Hydroquinone is generally used in provider-directed 12–24-week cycles followed by a rest period; continuous indefinite use is not recommended because of rare exogenous ochronosis. Redness, burning, stinging, dryness, peeling, tightness, or photosensitivity may occur. Benzoyl peroxide can inactivate Vitamin C and should not be applied in the same routine. Keep components tightly closed at room temperature away from light and heat. Vitamin C color shifting toward amber/orange can indicate oxidation. Individual results vary.
